Egypt
We're riding with our best ally: the tailwind. The road is flat and mostly following the shoreline of the Red Sea.
The golden desert is continuously changing from flat to bumpy and hilly and back to flat until the mountain range gets closer and parallel to the road. Too bad there's not enough time to explore the sandy gully we discovered leading deeper into these mountains.
The blue sea is inviting and some follow its call. The call of the mountains I cannot follow these days.
I think I'm all a big butt now. That's the only body part I feel :-)
I'm still struggling to find inspiration for pictures. The sunrises are orange-red and so are the sunsets. But the sky, the sky at night is awesome! And that alone is worth it.

Hi Diana. I live on the North Shore and became interested in the Tour d'Afrique a few weeks ago. As you are a North Vancouverite I am going to follow you. This trip really interests me and would love to get together with you when you return. Safe riding!
