I think you cannot measure Africa in kilometers but rather in hills and villages, in smiles and trees, in the echo it has in ourselves and, hopefully, in the impact it will have on our lives.
Personally, I know I merely scratched the surface of an amazing continent. With my camera I have captured a tiny bit of its magic; with my heart I felt its warmth and diversity, its struggle and endurance. The learning only started, nourished by an obsessive question: How can I make a difference?
