There are many bookstores in Cairo. I only entered one and left with 4 books. I picked 3 books by the Nobel-awarded Egyptian writer Nagib Mahfouz and, while waiting to pay at the cashier, I picked one more small book about the pyramids.
I promised myslef to not enter any other bookstore in Cairo.
